    VISITOR PARKING ARRANGEMENTS

Once you arrive at the venue please follow the directions of the traffic team.

The following are specific arrangements for coaches, less abled spaces and special drop off arrangements.

    COACHES

All coaches will be required to park at the Ice Rink and Pavillion Car Parks at the rear of Alexandra Palace. The traffic team will direct you to these spaces on arrival. You will then both drop off and collect your passengers at this location.

Alexandra Palace cannot allow coaches to use the bay at the front of the Palace in front of the Palm Court as this will cause major traffic implications for the public highway.

Once coaches have arrived at the car parks there is a small passenger buggy in operation to take the less able visitors to the entrance, a free service offered by Alexandra Palace.

There is also an entrance to the venue adjacent to the Rose Windows which will be clearly signposted - this brings you out by the Great Hall entrance and reduces the distance to approx. 50% of the normal walk from the Ice Rink to the Palm Court entrance. This entrance will be open from 10.20am onwards. You can also exit the building through this door when it is time to return to the coach.

    LESS ABLED SPACES

When you arrive at Alexandra Palace traffic marshalls will advise you which area is available for disabled parking if your pass is clearly visible. This may be in the Grove Car Park or the BBC Car Park near the Ice Rink. All spaces are available on a first come first served basis.

There are shuttle buses operating from the Pavillion Car Park to the main entrance of Alexandra Palace to assist those less able and from the Ice Rink Car Park there is also a passenger buggy in operation.

If you park in the Ice Rink Car Park or the east or Pavilion Car Park there will also be a new entrance to the venue adjacent to the Rose Windows which will be clearly signposted - this brings you out by the Great Hall entrance and reduces the distance to approx. 50% of the normal walk from the Ice Rink to the Palm Court entrance. This entrance will be open from 10.20am onwards. You can also exit the building through this door when it is time to return to your vehicle.

    SPECIAL DROP OFF ARRANGEMENTS

If a member of your group has extremely limited mobility or health concerns please advise the traffic team on your arrival and special arrangements can be made to drop and collect from the front of the Palm Court - please note this is a very limited facility and we would ask you to use this facility appropriately.

    LEAVING THE EXHIBITION

When leaving the exhibition if you are parked in the Ice Rink/East/Pavillion Car Parks you will be able to exit the Great Hall at the normal entry/exit point and then turn left to exit by the indicated route. This will be found immediately outside the Great Hall doors which again will make your walk to your vehicle approx. 50% of the normal distance.
